Now available my new book Wabi Sabi Sewing, a collection of 20 sewing projects for home décor and accessories based on the popular Japanese aesthetic philosophy of wabi-sabi which celebrates beauty in the ordinary and imperfect. I have taken this concept to celebrate the imperfect, strip things down to pleasing simplicity both in the choice of fabrics and colours I have used.

I have created a collection of sewing and quilting patterns incorporating these techniques to create unique home décor items including a full-sized bed quilt, simple coasters for a favourite mug or a stunning scarf to wrap up in.

The range of techniques included in Wabi-Sabi Sewing ensures that it will appeal to quilters, sewers and stitchers alike.
